Extremely easy to grow, the Robinson Crabapple is appreciated for its outstanding disease resistant, fast growing habit, year-round coloration, and air pollution and drought tolerance. With a a 4-8 hardiness zone rating, this specimen is tolerant of a wide variety of soil conditions, but it thrives best with full sun and loamy, well-drained, moist soil. It’s optimal to prune after the Robinson Crabapple has ceased flowering or in late winter.
